The "What are you working on?" thread!

Have something for Wrack that you're interested in sharing? Feel free to do so in this thread!

I'll kick things off. Working on E3M5 at the moment. It's not much to look at yet, but it's quite a lot of fun so far!

So kind of like the ZDoom Forums' thread except Wrack only? :P

A slightly different way of "spawning" a crusher.

I'm meant to be working on my Industrial Complex map, but I keep getting sidetracked by videogames. :|

The new textures look really nice. Some more variation to take advantage off. What I really need are some grass, gravel and rock type textures. They would help me very much .

E3M5 looks interesting Carn. Looking good.

Myself, I'm still slowly working on my Infiltration map. Havn't done much recently but check out the thread for some screenshoots.

I'm making map01 from DOOM II. I can't finish it though because I don't know how to script switches. Wish it was like DOOM Builder where you just made things the same tag..

That's how you do doors and switches in Wrack. With tags.

I'm working on some lighting things. I'm trying to get both more brightness and more contrast into the levels (so they don't look mostly the same everywhere). Here's a good example of what I just did with the start room of E1M4:

    EDIT: After:

    Talking

Well, I finally got my greedy hands on the WrackEditor

I think most gamers will recognize the first screenshot below from an oldie but goodie

    d3d1.1.jpg d3d1.2.jpg

I'm used to working in HammerWE which has a different way of doing things. I've played with the editor for a couple of hours now and still getting used to the games texture set and feel but setting up geometry has never been easier. I'm having some trouble understanding some of the more advanced features such as (sliding) doors, moving platforms, skyboxes and just a general understanding of how the triggers and flags work. It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction
