    Sentries and their movement

I have encountered very weird behaviour (I think)
wrack Q.jpg The red lines are paths these sentries are copying.
The sentry on the right has amplitudes set as following: X and Z at 50. It results in circle movement.
However, when I tried to make sentry circle vertically, it started going in this \ direction, instead of circle (X and Y at 50).
So I ask, is this supposed to happen?

It's working correctly, yes. The sentries movement follows a parametric equation. Google it :P If you put the same stuff into one of those, that's the path you'll get. Also, I don't think a lot of the "Type your equation in here and try it out!" ones do 3D, so you might not be able to try that part out.

Oh, is there any way I can make these things circle vertically? I would love to use it in a part of my map

Give it Y and X amplitude (or Y and Z) and it should look in a circle. The old Metroplex had them do that.

Very weird, I swear to god in preorder2 they did not circle but went in / direction. Anyway, thanks for your time.
EDIT: So apparently, when they have amplitude of Y and Z it works, but in Y and X it does not (can anyone else confirm this?).
