Frequently Asked Questions

We know you probably have a lot of questions. After all, the full game isn't even out yet. If you still have a question after reading through this, feel free to contact us.

Q1: How long will Wrack be?

A1: Wrack will be composed of one episode with 9 levels. We plan to do two more episodes as DLC, which should bring the total number of levels up to 30. On top of that, there will be extras, like challenge mode, time attack, and score attack, as well as tons of user-made maps and mods. In short, Wrack will have a ton of content to keep you entertained for a long time!

Q2: Will Wrack be on Steam, Desura, and other digital distribution services?

A2: We don't want to be presumptuous and say "Yes! Of course!" before getting approved, but we're looking into making Wrack available on as many different digital platforms as possible - including Steam and Desura.

Q3: If I pre-order Wrack through the website, will I be able to transfer it to my Steam account?

A3: Again, without getting ahead of ourselves, that is the plan. No one should have to buy the same thing twice!

Q4: What are the system requirements for Wrack?

A4: We recommend the following specs to run Wrack smoothly:

CPU: Dual core 2.0 GHz
GPU: Nvidia 8800GT/ATI HD 4850
RAM: 2GB

However, to play Wrack at all, we recommend the following specs:

CPU: Dual core 2.0 GHz
GPU: Nvidia 8600GT/ATI HD 4650
RAM: 2GB

Q5: Will Wrack appear on any consoles?

A5: We hope so, but have no definite plans to do that just yet. The Xbox 360 would be the first one targeted, as Wrack is already compatible with its rendering, audio, and controller systems.

Q6: Will Wrack have multiplayer?

A6: Sadly, no. As an indie developer, it's taken every ounce of our efforts and resources just to get a single player FPS off the ground. To really do it right would add months - if not years - to the project's development time, and time is not a luxury we have. We don't believe in half-assing anything, so we'd rather save that for later instead of giving you a mediocre experience right now. Our plan is to do something similar to what Torchlight is doing and save multiplayer for the sequel - if we get that far, of course!

Q7: Will Wrack have any DLC?

A7: That's the plan! We definitely want to do two additional episodes as DLC (bringing the total up to three), as well as some other fun stuff - including a new game mode for which we plan to involve the Wrack mapping community. Stay tuned!
